On April 12, under the guidance of Professor Qu Shaoxing, deputy dean of SAA, a teacher delegation of 14 people visited the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Tsinghua University. They were warmly received by associate dean Professor Liu Bin and other relevant teachers. This visit aims to strengthen the experience exchange of experimental teaching and enhance the understanding between two universities.
Firstly, delegation visited the laboratory of solid mechanics and material mechanics in the center of mechanics experiment teaching at Tsinghua University. Associate professor Yu Xingzhe introduced the courses undertaken by the laboratory, equipment purchased and experimental projects, and listed several typical teaching cases. Communication and discussion were carried out on site, and then went into each laboratory to learn the situation of equipment and experimental development. Teacher Xu Manqiong, Li Chen and Niu Hongtao of Tsinghua University respectively introduced the laboratory of micro-nano mechanics, the laboratory of theoretical mechanics and the laboratory of fluid mechanics. The home-made experimental equipment in the theoretical mechanics laboratory attracted the most attention. Finally, the delegation visited the undergraduate innovation laboratory of Tsinghua University.
This visit has enhanced the mutual understanding between the experimental teaching personnel of the two universities. It is hoped that the exchange mechanism can be established through this visit. In the future, we will strengthen exchanges and cooperation and learn from each other to improve the level of experimental teaching of undergraduates, so that students can better master the knowledge they have learned through operation of experiments.
