The opening ceremony of 10th Aerospace Festival of SAA was successfully held on May 29. Leaders, teachers, students as well as students from other departments attended this ceremony together.
The Aerospace Festival is a traditional student festival held by SAA in order to enrich communication between teachers and students, carry forward the spirit of aeronautics and astronautics, Improve students' comprehensive quality and inspire students' passion for knowledge in the aerospace field.
In ceremony, vice chairman of student union introduced series activities of this year’s Aerospace Festival. There are totally five parts: Professor Lecture Forum, Research Innovation, Research Training, Cultural Life, and Visit& Practice. Diverse student activities will be held under the guidance of league teachers.
After the ceremony, Professor YU Faxin gave the first professor lecture on this festival: The Development of China’s Chip Industry Seeing from ZTE Event.
President Ruan talked about his feeling after the report, expressing his earnest expectation for all teachers and students. He hoped that everyone could overcome the mentality of being eager for quick success and instant benefits, and become the high-tech professionals urgently needed in China, and contribute to the cause of the motherland.
Experts and leaders at the meeting actively interact with the teachers and students present and answer their questions warmly.
Hope that in the following six months, all students will actively take part in this Aerospace Festival to train ability and show their talents.
