Belt and Road Aerospace Innovation Alliance (BRAIA) 3rd Space Exploration Summer Camp was successfully held by National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan from July 14 to 24, 2019. This summer camp was hosted by NUST with the theme of “High Performance Computing (HPC) in Aeronautics”. More than 80 teachers and students from 15 universities in the UK, Austria, Turkey, Malaysia, Pakistan and China participated in this event. Five ZJU students attended the summer camp.
NUST invited more than 20 experts to deliver academic lectures around the development of HPC inlcuding ZJU professor SONG Guanghua. The participants were also invited to visit Institute of Space Technology (IST), Pakistan and took part in a Water Rocket Contest.
This summer camp is the 12th activity of BRAIA since its establishment in April, 2017 and the 3rd BRAIA event held this year beyond China.
