The 4th National Biomechanics Symposium for Young Scholars was successfully held in Hangzhou from 20 to 22 Nov. Biomechanics experts and young scholars from more than 20 universities and institutes participated. The symposium was held by School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, ZJU.
During the conference, experts and scholars reported their latest research, and carried out heated discussions with other participants on their achievements and problems. These academic reports covered many cutting-edge issues in biomechanics research, including cellular and molecular biomechanics, mechanical regulation of cellular microenvironment, rehabilitation biomechanics, and clinically oriented biomechanics, etc.
On the afternoon of 21 Nov., the seminar organized a face-to-face discussion on the opportunities and challenges faced by the development of biomechanics research. The conference voted that the University of Science and Technology of China will host the next symposium in 2022.
