A group of researchers from China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation Limited (CASIC) visited School of Aeronautics and Astronautics from 3 to 4, June, 2021. Chairman of SAA, BI Jianquan, Executive Deputy Dean, CHEN Weiqiu, teachers and students from the Institute of Flight Vehicle Design and Propulsion Technology attended the workshop.
BI Jianquan introduced the history and achievements of School of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The two sides had an in-depth discussion on the research of space dynamics, as well as the cooperation of students training.
Representatives of outstanding young teachers reported their latest research progress and achievements, covering research areas of low-dimensional laws and control of physical processes of air-breathing engines, CFD and uncertain design of turbomaginery, high-precision numerical simulation of multiphase turbulent combustion for engines, thermal protection of new materials, aero-thermal prediction of aircraft, etc.
At the end of the meeting, WANG Jixing from he CASIC made a speech themed as “Learning form the history and promote the high-quality development of aerospace industry”. He called on students to follow the example of predecessors such as academician LIU Xingzhou, and to pass on the spirit of hard working.
