On 29 July, 2021, the Online Forum for Young Scholars Overseas was successfully held. This annually held forum aims to enhance academic exchange and cooperation between young scholars at home and abroad. More than 50 scholars attended the meeting.
Dean of School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, RUAN Xiangxin said China is entering an important stage of development. We are looking forward to young scholars to join us. Executive deputy dean, CHEN Weiqiu introduced the present situation of SAA, tenure track in Zhejiang University, as well as requirements, compensation and welfare for new enrolled teachers.
16 young scholars made reports in this forum, they are from the United States, The United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Ireland, the Netherlands, Singapore and Hong Kong. Professor YU Zhaosheng, MENG Hua, QIAN Jin and JIN Zhonghe attended the forum and had in-depth discussion with young scholars.
The forum enables young scholars to further know Zhejiang University and School of Aeronautics and Astronautics. It is a key move for SAA to recruit outstanding talents.
