This project won the first prize of Science and Technology Award of Zhejiang Province in 2013. It is the first kilogram satellite in China, and successfully launched and has been operating steadily in orbit. A star-mounted USB transponder with the smallest volume weight and lowest power consumption in the world has been developed and has been successfully applied to multiple satellites. This project laid a technical and engineering foundation for kg-class satellite's subsequent development and application. A technical approach for developing spacecraft mainly with industrial-grade devices is explored. The overall research results are of advanced international standards, among which the volume and power consumption of satellite-borne USB transponder and the fast and independent triaxial stability of skin satellite have reached the international leading level.
