The research team carried out research on soft robot and bionic mechanics in three layers of material-structure-system. Innovative research results such as flexible reptile robot, high elastic bistable actuator and bionic printing of strong flexible hydrogel have been obtained, providing a new concept and method for the integrated design of software robot. Recently, the team has made important progress in software underwater robots, and developed a high performance, transparent software bionic robot fish. The robot fish adopts the structure of high projectile body skeleton and flapping wing. It has achieved the goals of fast mobility, long endurance and environmental adaptation through its own miniaturized high-voltage power supply and control system, which is expected to be used in underwater investigation and Marine environmental monitoring.
