Prof. Dr. Stavrinidis is a chartered engineer of the UK Engineering Council, and is a fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering (FREng), the Royal Aeronautical Society (FRAeS), the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (FAIAA), and a member of International Academy of Astronautics (IAA), Académie de l’Air et de l’Espace (AAE), Space Branch Chairman of the Council of European Aerospace Societies (CEAS), and editor in chief of the CEAS ESA/DLR Space Journal.
